Back from Bigstuf!!!

I am back from Bigstuf and haad a blast!! We had so much fun! We had worship sessions in the morning and at night. Then from 1-5 we could go to the beach and swim in the pool! It was soo much fun! The sessions were so loud and upbeat!! I loved the speakers and the band. It was great!! There is so much to say about it! One day this choir from Africa with 9 and 10 year old little kids came and sang. IT was so amazing and touching to see how happy they were even though they live in some of the worst slums in the world. It was just so great to see their smiling faces and them up there having a blast. I have several pictures and videos that i will post!

Okay I know I haven't updated in forever!! I am sorry! Well I SO SO SO SO can't believe that school is almost over! FOUR more days! Yes only four! I am very excited about summer but I know I will miss getting to see my friends everyday! I can't believe 6th grade is almost over. I have to say it has probably been one of the craziest years at school but we got through it! I am soo ready to go to the beach! I am going The first week in June to camp BIGSTUF! I can't wait! Then I am going back with all my family the same week 3 of my best friends ever are going! So I am excited about that too! Well Tomorrow is Mother's Day! I hope every mother out there has a wonderful day! I know moms mean so much to their children! Mom, thanks for always being there for me, loving me, and being the best mom EVER! I know I haven't posted in FOREVER! Well everything is good here ! It's spring break!!! :) I am LOVIN it! Only 9 weeks of school whenever we go back! :) This school year has flown by! Hey! I hope everyone is doing good! This is going to be a short post because I just got done typing a report so I am tired of typing! haha Well school is going good! I got voted Best Dressed for this year! So I am excited about that! Also two of my Best friends got voted too for the whos who this year! Brooke got Cutest girl and Class favorite! Sorry it has been such a long time since I have posted!! Seems like life has been so busy in 2009!! Ha Well lets see where I should start!? School is great so is life! I am starting gymnastics Monday and am very excited about that! I am trying out for cheerleading!! Tryouts are March 20th! So we will see how that goes! I hope good! There are only 4 spots open though so it will be a tough competition! I know alot of girls trying out! So we will see!
Last night I went with some friends to see the movie Mall Cop! It was great! I think everyone should go see it. It is a sweet story that will give you a great laugh!! We had fun!
Guitar is going AWESOME! I absoulutley LOVE it!! I have been writing several songs latley! So we will start working on recording those in the studio hopefully very soon!I have several songs also that are in the process of being recorded and stuff! I am anxious to continue on those and see how they turn out! I should be able to start on a cd after I finish recording these last songs I have written and we finish the ones in the process. It all takes time! My guitar teacher who is so nice to do all this recording for me, is very busy with other gruops too. He is such a nice person and always goes beyond and above the.. I guess expectations! So I am so glad I get to work with him and that he is my teacher! I will keep you update on it all.
Well I hope everyone is doing good! I am so thankful for such great friends and family! I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many great people, to be in such great health, to have a home, food,love, mercy, forgivness, GOD most of all, and the list could go on and on! I am beyond excited about Christmas!! It is my favorite time if year!! I do so many fun things during Christmas! My uncle and aunt form Oklahoma come down for about a week during Christmas! We all eat together for that whole week while they are here! It is so much fun! I also go to Memphis to my aunt's house where alot of my realitives gather on the Sunday before Christmas! Thats alot of fun too! I don't know if I am going to have a Christmas party this year! I hope I do! Well we have all our decorations up and are ready for Christmas! Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith Concert~The United Tour!!

Ok I know this post is waaayyy overdue but better late than never!! Two weeks ago my dad and I went to a Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith concert. They just started their new tour called "The United Tour" together about a month ago. Anyway, the concert was amazing!!! I new alot of Steven Curtis Chapman songs and have been a fan of him for a long time, but I didn't know much Michael W Smith songs. I really enjoyed watching them both. I think one of the coolest parts though, and maybe THE coolest was we sat on the 5th row!!! It was awesome!! Steven Curtis Chapman's family and friends sat on the row right in front of us. His wife, kids, and friends sat right in front of us. His wife was directly in front of me! It was so neat to seem their reaction to the concert. His family doesn't attend very many concerts I don't think since most of them are a long way from Nashville. This concert was in Birmingham though so they all came. As most of you probably know Steven Curtis Chapman's 5 year old daughter that they adopted from China got run over and was killed back in May. So it was very difficult for him and his family to all be their. He just started back doing concerts about 3 months ago. He sang the song that I am sure most of you know called Cinderella which was written about Maria Sue, his daughter that was killed, and his other daughter Stevie Joy. So I know it was very difficult for him to sing that but he did amazing and it was very good! On the other hand, Michael W. Smith did awesome too!! It was really great! I am so glad I got to go! thanks dad for an awesome time! Here are a few pictures of the concert!!

This coming up week is homecoming week at New Hope! I am sooo excited! We have like a different theme to dress up as everyday! Monday is Tacky day. Tuesday is Hillbilly day. Wednesday is Decade day. Thursday is Rockstar day. Friday is Trojan spirit day. All week leads up to our main event! haha Homecoming Friday night!! I am so excited! Well that is about all I know! We had see you at the pole rally last night at fairview. It went great and we had an awesome time!! It was such a great event to get everyone pumped up about see you at the pole, which we had this morning. See you at the pole this morning also went great! There was alot of people there! I think is is such a great oppertunity for all of our school to come together and just pray for our school, community, and world. I am so glad I got to be a part of it. Sorry everyone, I haven't updated in 4EVER. I have been busy lately with school!! :) Junior high is SO awesome though! I LOVE it! I mean school is still school, haha :) but I am enjoying it so much more than elementary! Well, there has been alot of stuff going on! Football games :), guitar, school, and so much other stuff! haha! I add something called followers to my blog. Which i think like if you become a follower of my blog then like when you log on to your own blog on your dashboard it has updates from all the blogs you are a follower of. I made a cute header to match out of the same patter but my blog is still saying that it is invalid image url when I try to put headers on and I am making the headers the came way I always ahve and they have been working for a long time. Hey everyone! hope you are all doing good! As you see I don't have a cute little header on my blog. :( I was trying to change my header because I had made a new one and was putting it on my blog and it kept saying invalid url. Now no matter which header I try to put on there it says that. Is anyone else having problems with their blog? So for now I guess my blog won't have a header. :( Well on a different note...school has started and is going really well! It is still kind of hard getting back in the swing of things but I am getting there. I like middle school alot so that is good. Well I guess that is all for now! Student Life!!

I got back from Student Life on Thursday! We had the best time!! It was so much FUN! Me, Marlee, Brooke Ann, and my mom were all in a room together! It was so much fun! The band and speaker were both amazing! It is the best camp I have ever been to! It is so loud and upbeat!We had an awesome time! We had worship and family group everyday! We also had outdoor recreation one day which was just like dry games. Then we had water recreation another day! They were alot of fun! We also did the blow up jumpers iin the lake and we swam in the pool! We had a great time!
I am starting school August 6th which is Wednesday! I am so excited about junior high! I got my schedule a few days ago and have friends in every class so that makes it even better! Well I hope everyone is doing good! I will try to update soon!

I am going to student life in 2 days!!! I am so excited! I can't wait! I know we will have a blast! We are leaving monday morning about 8:30 or 9:00! We will return on thursday around 3:00! I am home from the beach! I had a wonderful time! It was so much fun! We of course went to the beach, shopped, ate, and just hung out! We had a blast! One day we rented these little two seater cars and rode them around Destin! It was so cute! then another day we went to the track and drove go-carts and rode bumper boats and bumper cars! It was alot of fun too! We went shopping a little almost everyday at itleast one place. Somedays we shopped at alot of places. One night we ate at Panera Bread which is at Destin commons, which is a huge like outdoor mall! It is so nice and pretty! Another night we ate at Fudpuckers. It was sooo much fun! We fed the alligators, and the food was amazing! Then we ate also at Goat Feathers one night and it was really good! Well we only saw a few jellyfish, and nobody got stung or bit by any sea creatures thankfully! We had an awesome time! Our condo was so nice. About 20 of us went. It was all my dad's siblings and there kids and also my grandparents. We stayed in the pint house though at the top of the hotel. The condo was 2 stories, 4 bedroom,3 bath. It had 2 decks, one downstairs and one up! so obviously we had plenty of room! It was so nice, and the ocean was very clear and clean everyday but 1. The weather was perfect and it only sprinkled a little bit on the very last day! Well I guess that is all for now. I just wanted to update everyone about my wonderful beach trip! Next week is VBS so I will update about that next week!

Today we went and rented these scooter things that were like 2 seaters and you rode them on the road. It was alot of fun! Well we are having a great time! i just wanted to update everyone! I am going to have a pretty busy, but definetly FUN next few weeks or more like rest of the summer! haha :) Well...this week my uncle from Oklahoma is coming and is staying for a week. Then the day he leaves to go home all of our family is going to Destin and we are styaing there for a week! I am SUPER excited about that!:) Then when we come home I have VBS at church but that is from like 6:00-8:00 p.m. Then I have like a week then I am going with my church to Student Life Camp in Shocco springs, Al. I went last year and had a blast so I am excited to be going again this year!! Well..then I get back from that after like 4 days and then in about a week I go back to school. So my summer from here on is pretty busy. I am excited about everything I am going to be doing though so it will be fun! I hope everyone is having a good summer! I will try to post again...maybe while I am at the beach!!:)

Father's day weekend!

I hope everyone had a great Father's day! We had a fun weekend! Sunday all my family went to my aunt's and we swam and grilled hamburgers. It was a lot of fun! My dad is an amazing dad! I love him so much! He is a wonderful example of how a christian should act! He is the best dad ever! He is so loving! Even when he is tired from work he always plays with us! I love him so much! I could not ask for a better dad! I also have wonderful grandfathers and uncles. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family! I love you daddy and thanks for all you do!! Well... I have been out of school almost three weeks now! I am loving sleeping in late and just laying around, swimming, shopping, and being with my family and friends! I really am enjoying my summer! I am also very excited to be going to middle school! I think it is going to be a whole new atmosphere but, I am SO excited about it! I don't want to rush the summer though! haha:) I am going to the beach in about 3 or 4 weeks! I am very excited! I am also going to Student Life camp at the end of July that I am also SUPER excited about!! We had a wonderful time last summer and I can not wait to go back! I have alot of my really good friends going too so that makes me even more excited! Now about guitar! It is going absolutely wonderful! I LOVE it! I have wrote another song that I am getting ready to start the recording process on!! Yeah!!:) I got a c.d. of both of the other songs I recorded and I am pretty much finished with those! I am very happy with them. Well I hope everyone is doing good and having a great summer! I will try to update again soon! Also, I have added a thoought of the day on the side of my blog. I am reading "The Purpose Driven Life" and I am posting the overall thought of that days chapter. So.. it will be updated everyday I hope you will take the time to read it!

I haven't posted in a while! Sorry! It seems like I have been pretty busy lately! I have been working really hard on recording at guitar lessons. It is going pretty good! I have been a little hoarse and have been coughing some lately so my vocals aren't the best. I am going to wait a few more days to finish up my vocals! So.. hopefully my voice will be a little better! I am having the a blast and LOVE playing the guitar and singing. I have the BEST teacher! I am so blessed to be able to play and record! Great Easter!

I had an awesome Easter! It was alot of fun! Friday we went to my grandparents with all the rest of my family and ate and opened presents! It was so much fun! I got shoes, paint, notebook, lipgloss, and the cutest stuffed monkey! :) Then Saturday we went to church for the Easter egg hunt! They had food, jumpers, and of course a Easter egg hunt along with a few other games! They also had 6 little bunnies you could get your picture made with and when the party was over they gave them away. They were so cute! That night I went to my aunt and uncle's house with the other side of my family! It was alot of fun too! On Easter we went to church. It was great! Then we went to my other grandparents and ate there and had a Easter egg hunt too! It was alot of fun! We also watched the bulldogs play memphis but... we lost by 3 points! We came so close! In my Easter basket I got lots of candy, some clothes, and some more lipglosss!:) I had a AWESOME Easter! I hope everyone else did too!

I am on spring break! I am soooo excited! I don't have to much planned. I am going to a movie and maybe shopping! I like to just hang out sometimes though! :) I hope everyone is doing good! This year has flown by! I can't believe it is already March! I am down to doing one thing a week other than school and that is guitar! I am done with dance now and the play so I am getting a little more free time which I am enjoying very much! I have been working on guitar alot now. Only one week until Pollyanna! I am very excited but a little nervous! The play is Friday at 7:00 at Joe Cook auditorium. If you would like a ticket I am selling them or you can purchase one at the Ymca. We have practice everyday this week. So.. It will be a long week but I am ready and excited! I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2008! Before I know it school will be out. It does not seem like I have finished half of the school year already! Well I hope you all have a wonderful New Year! The play date may get changed again because two of the main characters had to quit due to the last date change. So if she does not have them it will be for sure changed. If she got them over the holidays I don't know what she will decide to do. I have not had play practice like all of December. It starts back Monday though. We have it every week at least twice a week until the play. As of now though it is Febuary 8th. I will let you all know when I found out!

I had a wonderful Christmas! I hope everyone had a great one too! We had so much fun spending time with each other, opening presents, and of course eating! I got so many presents! I will put a few of them on here! I got a bike, webkinz, wireless mouse, perfume, dream life superstar, PlayStation 2, PlayStation2 games, boots, a flat wallet, jewelry, clothes, a flat screen TV, and so much more! I had a wonderful Christmas and Santa along with everyone else was very good to me this year as always! I am so blessed to have such a WONDERFUL family and such great friends! God has blessed me in so many ways! I love Christmas and try hard not to forget the real meaning of it! Because, if it wasn't for God sending Jesus to be our savior we would not have such a great holiday like Christmas! I am so thankful for Christmas because it is also a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Disney World!

We had so much fun at Disney World! It was just absolutely beautiful! We had the best time! We went to all the parks at Disney World except the water parks of course that were closed. Our hotel was very nice! I rode almost everything. I was to scared to ride Rock n' Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, and Mt. Everest. Everything else I rode and loved! I rode space Mountain and it was one of my favorites! I also loved Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, and Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom. In Epcot I rode Mission: SPACE. It was a lot of fun too. Magic Kingdom is really just magical. The castle was just gorgeous at night when it was all lit up. The fireworks were also amazing! I really liked Splash Mountain which was my favorite when I went when I was younger. I also liked Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I rode both of these twice! Every ride there is so much fun though. There isn't in thing in Disney World that isn't just a blast! We went to Mickey's very Merry Christmas Party one night and it was a lot of fun! You have to get a special ticket and they shut the whole Magic Kingdom down that night for it. You go and see all the characters and special parades and fireworks. It is snowing as you walk down Main Street. It is just so much fun. We had a blast! I hope to see everyone soon! Merry Christmas!

The new play date has been set! It is February 8th. We have more time now so that is good because there is no way we could have been ready by Friday. We have a break for awhile during Christmas so that is good! Well that is about all that is new. By the way how about those Bulldogs! MSU- 17 Bama- 12! Whoooo!

The director of Pollyanna called Tuesday and said she decided it would be best to postpone the play. I was a little disappointed after all the hard work we put into. She said some people did not know their lines good enough and she would rather wait and it be really good than go on and without everyone knowing their lines. She said it should be sometime around the end of January or beginning of February. I will let you all know when I found out the exact date! It will be fine though now we have more time and want have to practice everyday. I hope everyone had a fun Halloween!

I now only have 4 weeks until the play. I have a lot to learn still. I am now almost dome with act 1. I now have act 2 to learn. There is 10 scenes in act 1 and 6 in act 2. Act 2 is a lot harder because it has to be the strongest part of the play and there are more conversations where you go back and forth talking. I am getting pretty nervous now knowing how close it is and how much I have to learn. We are starting to have two practices a week on October 29. Well I am going to "The Phantom of the Opera" tomorrow with my uncle in Birmingham. I am very excited! I will post all about it when I get back!

6 Weeks!

I have 6 weeks until the play! It is November 16. I am really getting a little nervous about all my lines and what I have to remember. I am having alot of fun though! We had our 3rd practice this past Wednesday. I have another one Wednesday. I hope everyone is doing good! I will try to keep my blog posted about the play!

Lots to memorize!

I had my second play practice yesterday! It actually made it feel real and made me feel a little nervous! We now have less than 7 weeks until the play! I have tons to memorize before then! The director of the play has made us an assignment list. By next Wednesday, our next practice, I have to know scenes 1-7 which is about 23 pages of lines! I am starting to get scared! I am really excited too though! This is my first real acting experience! It is totally worth all the hard work. I can't wait! This is my dream to be actress! Even though this is my first performance and not Broadway which is where I dream to be when I am older it is the beginning of acting for me and I am SO excited and thrilled that it is actually happening! I hope everyone is doing good!

First Practice!

I had my first play practice for "Pollyanna" yesterday! We watched the movie to see how the play was supposed to go! We had fun! Our next practice is Wednesday! We have alot to learn in less that 10 weeks but it will be worth it! Hope everyone is doing good!

Well as some of you know I auditioned for a play through the YMCA called Pollyanna! The auditions were Wednesday I was not supposed to find out if I got a part or not until next week but the director had made her decision early and called my mom. When my mom got the call she was on her way home from work. So... my mom got home and handed me a folder on the front it said, "Pollyanna". I opened it up and there was my script. The script for the character Pollyanna! I had got the main part in the play! I am so excited! I will be playing Pollyanna! The play is November 16 and 17 both nights at 7:00 at Joe Cook Auditorium. One of my friends and I will be sharing the part! I will play Pollyanna Friday night for the play and she will play her Saturday! I am sooo excited !We have practice every Wednesday at 3:30 and on some weeks Monday and Wednesday. Then we have a work day one Saturday and the week of the play we have practice everyday from 4:30 to 10:00! I have alot to learn and lots to practice but it is so worth it! It is a dream come true to be in a play especially as the main character! I am so excited! I will post more about the play soon!

I hope everyone had a good Labor day weekend last weekend! I was glad I had a extra day out of school! I did not do to much a few things but mostly just laid around which I enjoyed! This weekend was pretty busy. I had birthday parties and a few other things but it was fun! I Hope everyone else had a great weekend too! I have practice achievement test at school this week so I am not to excited about that. Hopefully they won't be to hard! So that is about all I know! Hope everyone is doing good! Hey everyone. Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. I have been so busy lately with school starting back and dance and guitar. I hope you have all been doing well! School is going great so is guitar and dance! I may get a new guitar for Christmas. My guitar teacher says I am moving up and ready to advance to a guitar with different strings and all that stuff. that is pretty exciting news for me! Parker is starting soccer he will start practicing soon! I am still loving school my teacher and all! I have now made some friends in my class which makes it a little more fun and as I have said I have a wonderful teacher which makes school 100% better. So it is going really good! I have set my blog where anyone can leave comments now so leave a comment and tell me how you are doing hopefully I will reply back! Well I will try to post again soon!

First week of school over

I made it though my first week of school. I must say though I had fun. My teacher is wonderful. We started doing work on Wednesday. This week we have done Science, Reading, Math, and English. We have had home work this week but not on the first day of school or Friday. It has just been a little when we did have it. I have a pretty good class compared to the past few years. Mostly everybody acts pretty good. Well I look forward to next week. I have enjoyed school a lot this week. I think this will be a wonderful year.

Hi everyone.... I had a wonderful day at school. My teacher is so nice and so creative. I have made a few friends and people I can talk to while I am in class and not with old friends. Today we had a little homework and started Math and English. It was pretty easy but very fun with lots of fun activities. There is 23 people in my class. I really had a lot of fun and look forward to this wonderful year of school.

Well..... school starts back tomorrow. I am a little excited but not much. I have a wonderful teacher though, her name is Mrs. Garrett. I don't have very many friends in there but I know a few people and maybe I will make some new friends. We have open house tonight and me and some other kids are helping with the 4th grade open house before ours. I have cute school supplies. That is always a really fun part of school. I have a striped and polka dotted binder, cute pencils, a striped pencil case that is the same pattern of my binder, and of course cute erasers. That is all we had to buy this year the county bought all the rest of the stuff like crayons and scissors. Well I guess that is all. School will be fun though at least the first week getting to see all my friends and new classroom.

Back from camp

I went to "Student Life for Kids" camp last week in Shocco Springs, Alabama. It was so much fun. We played lots of fun water and recreation games, we had worship, bible study, and many more fun things. I would definetly love to go again. It was such a wonderful experience. We stayed in a place not quite as nice as a hotel that was two stories with little individual rooms. The band and pastor were great. Jeremey Lee was our pastor and "The Jeff Hideman Band" led worship. It was so loud and upbeat. We had a blast. The skit was great and taught a wonderful lesson. We got to meet some of the staff and actors. That was alot of fun too. We got to swim, paddle boat, and jump on jumpers. There was so many fun activities. I really had a wonderful time and can't wait till next year.
